When it comes to the block of 4-way pallets, we offer two options: compressed wood or mixed hardwood. Compressed wood blocks are made by compressing wood chips and sawdust together under high pressure and heat, creating a dense and uniform block. Compressed wood blocks are an environmentally friendly option as they are made from recycled materials. However, one disadvantage of compressed wood blocks is that they cannot get wet and are susceptible to damage by water due to their production process. 

Mixed hardwood blocks, on the other hand, are made from natural wood and are less uniform in density and size. One advantage of mixed hardwood blocks is their affordability, as they are more cost-effective compared to compressed wood blocks. They also have a more traditional appearance and feel, which may be preferred by some customers. However, they may be more prone to warping and cracking due to their natural variability in density and moisture content.
