ISPM15 Heat Treatment

ISM15 heat treatment is an effective and environmentally friendly method of pest control, which is a mandatory requirement for export from Malaysia. Unlike chemical fumigation, which can leave harmful residues and pose a risk to human health and the environment, heat treatment is non-toxic and leaves no harmful residues behind.

It uses heat to kill any pests or insects that may be present, including their eggs and wood-boring beetles, which chemical fumigation cannot destroy or eradicate. Heat treatment can also eliminate mold, bacteria, viruses, dust mites, and other indoor allergens, and reduce or eliminate odors, leaving the building smelling fresh. Another advantage of heat treatment is that it is a faster process than chemical fumigation, allowing for quicker turnaround times and more efficient production processes.
